About Mountain Valley Home Comfort

Mountain Valley Home Comfort (we changed our name from Mountain Valley Sheet Metal in July 2005) is a family owned company founded in 1985 by Glen Turner. Glen's wife Sandy and their son Joshua both work for the company. To learn more about Glen, please see the Meet Glen page.

Mountain Valley Home Comfort has a Class A Contractors License No. 2705074884A with the following classifications:

• Commercial Improvement
• Gas Fitting
• Home Improvement Contracting
• HVAC

In addition, Glen Turner has a Tradesman License No. 2710019553 as a Master Gas Fitter and a Master HVAC. We also have liability and workman compensation insurance. Details can be provided on request.

Our goal is to satisfy our customers' needs as quickly and efficiently as possible. We have more than 40 people involved with HVAC system design, installation, and maintenance (our various crews are pictured below - there are too many trucks to show in one photograph). We have installed more than 2500 systems. Some of our recent commercial installations include the Shenandoah County Government Center and the Mayfair House nursing home in Woodstock.

Our service technicians have been trained in installation and service by the manufacturers of the units we install. This training is updated periodically so our technicians are always familiar with the latest equipment and technologies.

Mountain Valley Home Comfort is now a Dave Lennox Premier Dealer™. We have also received the Centurion award from Lennox.
